Check your tickets! Multiple winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in New York, including a $1 million winner in the Hudson Valley.

Sadly, no New Yorker won Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot, but someone in South Carolina has about a billion reasons to celebrate. A ticket with the winning numbers of 5, 28, 62, 65, 70 and the Mega number was 5 was sold in South Carolina.

Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot of $1.6 billion was the largest in history. While no one from New York won the jackpot, four second-prize $1 million winners were sold in the Empire State, including one in the Hudson Valley.

The $1 million winner was sold at Stew Leonard's in Yonkers, according to the New York State Lotto. Second-prize winners hit on all five numbers but not the Mega Ball.

If you aren't holding the second-prize ticket, still check your tickets because many other winning tickets were sold in New York.

One ticket is worth $30,000, 35 tickets won $10,000; 27 tickets are worth $1,500; 70 tickets are valued at $600; 736 tickets won $500; 1,924 are worth $200; 3,651 are worth $30; 14,162 tickets won $12 and 91,288 tickets are valued at $10.
