The WRRV Summer Concert featuring Incubus, Jimmy Eat World and Atlas Genius took place on a beautiful night in July at Bethel Woods Center For the Arts. Here's a few reasons we enjoyed the show so much.

  1. The Vibe: I could feel it from the stage. Being on the hallowed grounds where Woodstock happened, there's just something special about Bethel Woods that you can't put your finger on.
  2. The Music: From the opening note until Incubus' encore, all three bands brought their A-game. For those that missed Atlas Genius, they were great. You may have recognized a few of their songs on WRRV in the past. 'Trojans' was probably their biggest hit a few years ago. Jimmy Eat World was up next. Their set included classics from their entire song catalog. Their hour long set felt a little too short, they left the crowd wanting more.
  3. The People: It was great to see so many smiling faces! It's important to get out and enjoy yourself once in a while, and this was the perfect opportunity. I think you can expect more cool shows like this in the future at Bethel Woods!

Let's take a look at the set lists courtesy of Setlist.FM. Unfortunately Atlas Genius' was unavailable and my memory sucks. Highlights from their set included 'If So', 'Molecules' and 'Trojans'.
