Wrestling is finally epically returning to Poughkeepsie!

Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) will debut with

"ACW: Poughkeepsie Rumble" on January 4, 2025, at the MJN Center.

This isn’t just any wrestling event; ACW promises to reignite the energy Poughkeepsie has missed with a stacked lineup of legends, champions, and fresh talent.

The Mid Hudson Civic Center—now the MJN Center—is no stranger to pro wrestling and is widely considered one of the sport’s most historic and iconic venues.

For over 48 years, it’s hosted some of wrestling’s most memorable events, from television tapings to live events and pay-per-view broadcasts.

It’s the perfect backdrop for ACW to bring the action back to Poughkeepsie. And in a historic first for this legendary venue, fans will witness two world champions—

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth (formerly WWE’s Dolph Ziggler) and NWA World Champion Thomas Latimer.

It’s an incredible milestone for a place with a rich wrestling history.

Alongside these headliners, ECW icon Tommy Dreamer, high-flying sensation Flip Gordon, wrestling legend Crowbar, and Former NXT Superstar Anthony Greene round out a card set to thrill.

Busted Open's Dave LeGreca will also be in attendance!

This first event also features a high-stakes 20-man Over-The-Top-Rope Rumble, where one competitor will claim the title of inaugural ACW Champion.
