WRRV Sessions began in March of 2015 and offers up free performances each month from some of your favorite WRRV Artists at Newburgh Brewing Company. We'll be announcing our next band in the coming days, but we thought it would be fun to look back at some of the biggest Sessions performances so far.

  1. Hands down, the biggest Sessions yet has been the Coheed and Cambria performance in November of 2015. The event served as a fundraiser for the food bank of the Hudson Valley and we were able to raise over $1,000 for the cause in just one hour. We hit venue capacity in just 40 minutes. The band played a five song acoustic set and really enjoyed themselves.
  2. Dirty Heads were the most recent act to perform at WRRV Sessions, but they were right up there with the best attended events we've done so far. The first few shows on their tour got cancelled due to a hurricane , but they made it to Newburgh and were amazing.
  3. Two of the biggest WRRV Sessions have happened in the last four months. Switchfoot came to town in support of their most recent album. It was a 90 degree day in July, the band was just as hot as we all were. Despite the heat, they took pictures with everyone in attendance. And it was a HUGE crowd.
