Trapt, Saliva, Alien Ant Farm and More Lead ‘Make America Rock Again’ Tour
Seven veteran rock bands that saw rock radio success during the first decade of the 2000s are teaming up for the Make America Rock Again! tour later this summer. The lineup of Trapt, Saliva, Saving Abel, Alien Ant Farm, Crazy Town, 12 Stones and Tantric will be rocking their way across the country beginning Aug. 8 in El Paso, Texas.
The bands on the bill have dominated radio airwaves over the years, with eight No. 1 hits and more than 14 million albums sold. Tickets for select shows on the Make America Rock Again! tour will go on sale this Friday (May 20).
Trapt's latest album DNA is set to be released July 29, a week before the beginning of the tour. Saliva also have a new album coming out. Love, Lies & Therapy is due June 10.
Saving Abel are touring in support of 2014's Blood Stained Revolution, while Alien Ant Farm's most recent disc is last year's Always and Forever.
Crazy Town went more than a decade between albums, with last year's The Brimstone Sluggers serving as their first studio record since 2002's Darkhorse. 12 Stones are working on a new album, the follow-up to 2012's Beneath the Scars, while Tantric are also expected to release a new album this year.
Two other acts -- Drowning Pool and Fuel -- will also make appearances as well. Drowning Pool is on the bill for the Aug. 14 show in Detroit, while Fuel will join the lineup on Aug. 27 in Central Point, Ore. Visit the Make America Rock Again! tour website for ticketing details.
