Happy National Lash Day! Did you know that this holiday existed? National Lash Day falls on February 19th but should be honored every day. Have you noticed how much society has highlighted lashes?

Over the years, the lash industry has grown. From purchasing fake eyelashes to getting them professionally done, they’re honestly everywhere. I used to get my eyelashes done at a lash studio and it was such a treat. It’s also convenient to purchase fake eyelashes and glue in almost any store. Eyelash serums have also grown in this industry in addition to products to condition your lashes as well.

This holiday has been around for much longer than we imagine. In 2015, National Lash Day was brought to the attention by House of Lashes and then made a holiday and is now observed on this fine day. Before this, eyelashes were actually a thing in ancient Egyptian times.

National Lash Day is here to remind us of how beautiful our natural lashes truly are. For some reason, it seems men always have the best eyelashes (go figure). I find that bold, long, or thick eyelashes make your eyes pop.

Here are a few hot spots within the Hudson Valley that you can treat yourself and get your lashes done professionally (you’ll thank me later).
