According to CNN real estate mogul Donald Trump has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the 2016 presidential race. This announcement shouldn't come as a surprise, the billionaire has been overly vocal of his disappointments in the current political state.

"So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again," Trump a crowd this morning during a lengthy speech held at the lavish Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York. According to CNN the speech hit on key issues like currency manipulation from China and job creation. And of course it wouldn't be a Trump speech without taking shots at the president and his competitors on the Republican side.

"Sadly the American dream is dead," Trump said  as he wrapped up his speech, promising that he would bring it back to life with his run. Fitting as his campaign slogan is...

"Make America Great Again."
