Update: The article originally stated Davila was accused of stealing $10,000. In fact, he is accused of stealing $1,000 from his employer. The Hudson Valley Post deeply regreys the error.

An Upper Hudson Valley man was arrested over accusations he stole over $1,000 while working at Home Depot.

New York State Police from Catskill arrested 20-year-old Ismael A. Davila, of Catskill for 4th-degree grand larceny, a class E felony.

Davila is accused of stealing over $1,000 from his employer during a month long period while he was working at Home Depot. Police would not say how they connected him to the alleged crime.

Davila was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Town of Catskill Court on July 21.
