Warrant Wednesday: Dutchess County Woman Wanted For Grand Larceny
Here are this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police. They ask all of us to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants in the video below.
New York State Police Troop K, Wappinger, are looking for 47-year-old Christina Smith for grand larceny and falsifying business records. According to the New York State Police, Smith is wanted by both the State Police and the City of Beacon Justice Court following an investigation where it was revealed that Smith had illegally received unemployment insurance benefits while being gainfully employed at the time. Smith fraudulently obtained these benefits by providing false statements to the New York Department of Labor and, according to the New York State Police a warrant for her arrest was issued by the City of Beacon Justice Court.
