Our boy Tongo is back with another cover that probably shouldn’t exist. The Peruvian YouTuber is getting closer to a million subscribers and he’s put his signature… uhh, flavor… on Linkin Park’s “In the End,” dressing up as an angel and devil throughout the clip.

Tongo has reimagined the sweet sounds of System of a Down, the Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more on his channel. His “Chop Suey!” cover was especially popular in 2017, having racked up 11 million views. For “In the End,” Tongo brought back his cheesiest green screen graphics and most majestic sidewalk landscapes.

We’re guessing Tongo did this as a tribute to late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, which makes it a little weird that Tongo performs from both Heaven and Hell. The angel costume is apropos, but the devil costume is a little bizarre. Maybe “performing” a Chester Bennington vocal from “Hell” isn’t the smartest move, but we doubt Tongo thought that much about it.

Anyway, if you’re familiar with Tongo, you know pronunciation isn’t his strongest suit. With subtitles included, he sings the chorus, “Ay tray sojart / Angot sofart / Butin da end / Indasent ever never mader.” It may not be accurate, but it sure is charming!
