Danielle Lambert, 28, of Kingston has been arrested by Ulster County Sheriff's Office deputies and charged with two counts of offering a false instrument for filing, felonies, and the misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree welfare fraud

Lambert allegedly filed fraudulent applications for both Temporary Assistance and SNAP benefits with the Ulster County Department of Social Services between May and July of this year. The Ulster County District Attorney's office says that Lambert's applications indicated that she had two children in her household.  An investigation by the Ulster County Department of Social Services and the District Attorney revealed those claims to be false. As a result of the alleged false applications, Lambert received $668.67 in Temporary Assistance and an unspecified amount of SNAP benefits.

Lambert was processed and issued appearance tickets for the Ulster Town Court.
