This weekend, a familiar creepy clown will be terrorizing some kids in Maine all over again. With a new version of Stephen King's IT about to hit theaters and actually getting some pretty strong buzz, it got me thinking, what other movies do I want to see get remade?

I think that's a tough question, because there's so many bad remakes out there, but I think it depends on the kind of movie you're looking to remake. Like, there's no point in remaking Back to the Future, because that movie is already basically perfect. It's why more recent remakes of Total RecallRobocop, and Point Break were all lousy - they're trying to fix something that isn't broken.

Usually, I feel like the best remakes are the ones that are updating an older movie that was pretty good, but had room for improvement. Movies like Ocean's Eleven or True Grit take a good concept and update them to great effect.

So with that in mind, what would I like to see get an update? Well, I know Tom Cruise is talking about making a sequel, but I think Top Gun might be the perfect candidate for a remake. Just by updating it to a modern setting, you're changing almost everything about the story, and potentially bringing a new angle to it. Plus, GOOOOOOOOOSE.

What do you think? Is there any movie out there that you'd like to see get a modern-day update?
