A Woodbury Common Premium Outlets employee was killed in a freak accident.

On Tuesday around 4 p.m., 40-year-old Hadram Castillo went to go help unload a truck behind the Tory Burch store at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. Castillo asked another worker to move the truck away from the wall, but the vehicle instead went in reverse and pinned Castillo between the truck and the wall, Metro Law reports.

Castillo was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with a broken leg and a severe cut to his groin area. His condition rapidly declined and he was pronounced dead at the hospital just before 6 p.m on Tuesday.

“We extend our condolences to the family of Mr. Castillo and the team at Tory Burch," a spokesperson from the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets told Hudson Valley Post.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident, including looking into any possible mechanical issues with the truck.
