WRRV Labor Day Top 500 Needs Your Input

At the conclusion of each summer, WRRV breaks open the archives and plays back the top 500 songs in the history of the radio station. Last year Pearl Jam's 'Jeremy' just barely beat out Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit.'

The third annual WRRV Labor Day Top 500 will kick off Friday 9/1 at 3pm with songs from throughout the stations history featured. But we're going to need your help! We want to make sure we're not missing out on any tunes that should be on in there. So send us your top five songs (below) and we'll take that into consideration when building out the weekend.

Here's a look at the official schedule for the top 500 weekend:

• Friday 3-8PM
• Saturday 10-8PM
• Sunday 10-8PM
• Monday 10-6PM

The top 10 songs traditionally start right around 5pm on Labor Day and play out until it's over. Stick around after the countdown because Simon will be playing some highlights from throughout the weekend.
