One of the biggest summer movie releases has already made a big ol' blunder. Can you spot the problem?

If you can't, take a closer look at this poster--which is for the Australian release of the film--and look at the release date.

Perhaps having anyone--mutated turtles included--flying out of an exploding skyscraper with "September 11" beneath it isn't the best PR move.

Paramount has since apologized:

We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia,” Paramount Australia said in a statement. “Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offense and have taken immediate action to discontinue its use.

So, what do you think? Insanely stupid by Paramount or no big deal?
