If you drive while you are under the influence of alcohol, you will be punished. This goes if you are driving a car, a bus, a jet ski, a boat, even a Zamboni. Yes. The coolest thing out on the ice, a Zamboni.

A few months ago, Steven Anderson, 27, was arrested after driving a Zamboni drunk while clearing the ice at a high school girls hockey game. After he was observed running the Zamboni into the boards multiple times, the cops were called, and he was arrested with what police say was a blood-alcohol content was nearly four times the legal limit for driving a motor vehicle.

Anderson's attorney claimed that his client was not guilty because the Zamboni is not a motor vehicle.  Judge didn't buy that defense. According to Fox Sports, Anderson was sentenced to nine days in jail, with credit for one day served, and ordered a $1,500 fine, chemical dependency evaluation, and participation in the state's 24/7 sobriety program.
