A man is accused of driving drunk in the Hudson Valley with a 3-year-old passenger.

New York State Police from Livingston barracks arrested 26-year-old Michael P. Snyder, of Claverack for aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, a class E felony.

Troopers were sent to a home on County Route 27 for a welfare check. While conducting interviews, Snyder entered the driveway of the residence in a Ford pick-up truck. Police say a investigation revealed that he was driving while intoxicated with a 3-year-old child passenger.

Snyder supplied a breath sample that allegedly revealed a blood alcohol content of .13%. He was released on his own recognizance at the Town of Claverack Justice Court and directed to return at a later date.
