A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a fatal auto accident in Amenia.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that Randy Miles of Kent has turn himself in to local authorities after fatally hitting Concetta Eastman of Copake on March 19th. She was allegedly attempting to enter her car at the time of the accident. The truck, a dark Dogde pick-up was located last week, but Miles was not located until a few days ago.

It is not known at this time if there were any extenuating circumstances or if alcohol was involved. The Journal continues and mentions that he has been sent to Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
