Man Steals Gigantic American Flag From Hudson Valley Bar

There are good and healthy ways to express your love for our country. Stealing a gigantic American flag from a bar and being caught on video while you're doing it, though? It's probably not the way to go. 

But it is what this guy did. New Jersey native Brandon Gartrell is facing a judge after being caught on video stealing the giant American flag that hangs outside the Brew House in Pearl River on July 22nd. He is being charged with petit larceny.

Look, I get it. Who among us hasn't been drunk on a Saturday night, walking around and looking for giant American flags to steal from local hotspots? We've all been there. But we don't actually do it, most of the time. Ok, like half of the time. Well, some of the time.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a completely unrelated giant American flag that I have to get rid of for similarly unrelated reasons.
