Modest Mouse Uses Instagram To Hint New Music
Modest Mouse is apparently dropping hints about new music on Instagram.
The indie rockers posted their first picture to the social media site on Monday. It features nothing but a vinyl record with the handwritten title "Lampshades on Fire." Fans are speculating that this will the band's first new release since the 2009 EP "No One's First and You're Next," but Modest Mouse isn't sharing any other clues.
They canceled their European tour last year to work on the full-length follow-up to their 2007 album "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank," but it's been a while since they've given fans a progress report.
