National Dog Day, How Brandi Celebrates

Today is August 26, 2015, National Dog Day. How will I be spending it? Pretty much how I spend it everyday. Surrounded by my "wee beasties" Ava, Snickers and Scrappy.

With faces as cute as these, it is hard to believe that I am able to leave the house to come to work. But as I tell them each morning when I head out the door to work, "I have to go to work to be able to buy you the special food and treats that you like so much". Does telling them that manage to get them to look at me with less guilt inducing facial expressions? No, not really, but they sure are excited and happy when I come home from work, eager to tell me how traumatic their day was without me.
