Police: Hudson Valley Man Arrested For Allowing Teen To Smoke Weed

A local man has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after he reportedly allowed a 13 year old to smoke weed in his apartment.

The Ulster County Sheriff's Office announced via press release, Tyler Rion of the Town of Rochester, was taken into custody after a brief investigation. When authorities located Rion at his residence, a marijuana growing operation was also discovered.

In addition to the Endangering the Welfare of a Child charge, Rion faces misdemeanor charges of Unlawful Growing of Cannabis, Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 4th degree and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
