A New York City man went missing after he and his girlfriend's tandem kayak capsized in the Hudson River near Mills Mansion in Staatsburg on Saturday morning.

The missing man has been identified as 32-year-old Ian Jones, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported. Jones had been kayaking with long-time girlfriend Tali Lennox. Lennox was rescued by a passing boat but Jones was not found and a search began Saturday. The search resumed Sunday and continued into the dark, but Jones remains unaccounted for.

Lennox is the daughter of the famous singer-songwriter Annie Lennox of The Eurythmics.

Police told The Poughkeepsie Journal that they believe alcohol may have played a role in the incident.

No foul play is suspected and neither kayaker was wearing a life preserver, according to the report.
