Poughkeepsie residents were on edge yesterday with news of a reported home invasion and subsequent man hunt. Thankfully both suspects are in custody, with the ID of the second man announced today.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports authorities have charged City of Poughkeepsie resident Jermaine Ringler with felony criminal possession of stolen property as well as other charges relating to fleeing arrest.

Ringler fled the scene of the home invasion which occurred on Rinaldi Boulevard and eventually crashed his car near Van Wagner Avenue, then fled on foot. He was apprehended without incident in swampy, wooded area just before 6pm Monday.
