Another scary story for Police.

According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, a Rhinebeck man was arrested on Wednesday after making a threatening call to a Dutchess County agency.

Police told the Journal an employee from the agency called police and stated that a male had called on the phone and said he was on his way to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, and that he “was going to kill everyone.” This information was sent to officers on patrol.

According to the Journal, Joseph H. Greenfield, of Rhinebeck has been identified as the caller.

Members of city police and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office identified a location for Greenfield in the area of the City of Poughkeepsie and Town of Poughkeepsie line. He was taken into custody without incident and was not armed at the time of his arrest.

He has been charged with making a terrorist threat, a felony.

Police told the Journal that Greenfield said he was upset with the way city police handled an incident involving his son.
