Local Golf Tournament To Benefit Danny Quirk Football Scholarship Fund
In the summer of 2013, Millbrook resident Daniel Quirk was standing near a tree at Lake Taghkanic State Park that was struck by lightning. As a result, he was knocked to the ground and went into cardiac arrest. He tragically passed away just a few days later. Family and friends have started an annual golf tournament in his honor.
