Town of Saugerties supervisor Greg Helsmoortel says the Hudson Music and Arts Festival (aka The Hudson Project) will not be returning to Winston Farms in Saugerties this year. Helsmoortal says that the lack of preparation on site, as well as the Ulster County and New York health departments' concerns over lack of infrastructure were just a couple of reasons why The Hudson Project won't be back.

Last summer, hundreds of vehicles got stuck in the mud during heavy rains. Man of which had to be dragged out by local farmers, volunteering their time.  The three-day festival was cancelled on its second full day because of the storms.

The Times Herald Record also reports that there were numerous complaints over traffic and exit routes, shuttle bus issues, and lack of communication.
