As the company plans to reboot the Spidey character--again--the head of Marvel Studios confirmed and cleared up some rumors about plans for the character.

As we've heard in various reports, the new Spider-Man character is going to be a part of the Marvel Universe, something that was previously not possible due to Marvel and Sony (who owns the film rights to the character) being unable to come to an agreement. Now that those days are behind us, Spidey is free to join characters like the Avengers in upcoming movies.

Where that left the recently rebooted character played by Andrew Garfield was uncertain, but now the head of Marvel Studios has confirmed that there will be a new actor cast as the webslinger and he will be a high school-aged actor.

Spider-Man is expected to make an appearance in the next Captain America film, which is just about to begin filming.
