The Tampa Bay Lightning Have The Best Intermissions Ever
I'm a huge fan of in-stadium entertainment. I don't care how hokey or corny some of it is. In fact, the more blissfully corny the better, as far as I'm concerned. I love people getting to go down onto the field or the court and win huge prizes while risking the possibility of utterly humiliating themselves. What can I say? I find it to be one of the great American traditions.
But this one might take the cake. It doesn't involve active participation, but it involves something better: projectors on the ice. And Nintendo.
That's right, the Tampa Bay Lightning featured Mario Kart being projected onto their ice. This totally destroys even the biggest TV you've ever played video games on. Check out this video below and appreciate that it just might be one of the only things out there more exciting than Stanley Cup Playoff hockey.
