Wait Weeks in Line for an iPhone?

The official iPhone launch hasn't even been announced yet but that's not stopping several kookoo birds from lining up in front of the Apple flagship store on 5th avenue in Manhattan. The rumored release date is September 19th and apparently die hard Apple fans feel braving the elements, the long days and nights and the whole not bathing part is worth it. Of course being paid to be there is also worth it as some "fans" are being sponsored to wait in line. Click here for a more in-depth look at the iPhone freaks ( i say that in a nice way). So what about you? Would you do something like this? Maybe not for a phone but maybe something else, if so what? I think I'm on board with the people who are getting paid but honey, 19 days with no shower...oh lord!
