If you are thinking about a career in law enforcement this might be something you want to check out.

It's a tough job especially in the City of Newburgh but someone has to do it and the brave men and women of the City of Newburgh's police department would love to show you how you can do what they do.

According to the City of Newburgh Police, the City of Newburgh’s police officer exam is set to be given out on November 19th and if you are interested in taking the exam, you may want to learn a little more about the police department from current officers.

There will be an information session this Saturday at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center located on 321 S. William Street in Newburgh. If you do go you can also fill out an application while your there and remember that applications for the exam are due by the close of business on September 30th.

The event will run from 8 a.m. until Noon and police Chief Dan Cameron and members of the K-9 unit, Crisis Intervention Team, SWAT Team and other police units will all be on hand to help answer any questions that people may have.
