WRRV Halloween Playlist: Bring Me The Horizon – And The Snakes Start To Sing

Bring Me The Horizon has been on the Vans Warped Tour scene for years, and has been a topline headliner in the UK and Europe for years. They've never QUITE broken through in the United States, but their album "Sempiternal" is a complete work of genius.

The composition, the musicianship, the switch from clean to screaming vocals. The lyrics and production. It's a Tour De Force. The band would change their sound after this album, and have gone a little softer in the time after "Sempiternal".

There are numerous songs on the album that I think would work awesome for Halloween. But "And The Snakes Start To Sing" is plain CREEPY. The texture of the music in the song, the minor chords they use, the lyrics. It's a song that should be reserved for movies like Saw.
