In March of 2015, WRRV teamed up with the Newburgh Brewing Company to bring you WRRV Sessions. We're excited to announce the band that started it all is coming back for the January edition. WRRV welcomes New Politics to the Newburgh Brewing Company on Thursday, Jan. 28. The show is free and open to the public.

The band kicks off the year on tour in support of their third studio album Vikings which was released in August of last year. The album features a song called 'West End Kids' which is featured in the NHL 16 video game.

New Politics was formed in Denmark back in 2009 by David Boyd (guitar, vocals) and Soren Hansen (bass, vocals). Poul Amaliel was brought in on drums to round out the line-up when the band started gaining some attention. Amaliel ended up being replaced in 2011 by a drummer from Long Island by the name of Louis Vecchio.

If you missed WRRV Sessions with New Politics the first time around, here's a taste of what you're in for.
