$1 Movies Return To The Hudson Valley This Summer

With movie prices going up, some Hudson Valley theaters are offering $1 movies.

Regal Cinemas is once again holding their Summer Movie Express. Tickets to movies are only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at participating theaters, for select movies. Movies included this year include The Lego Movie, Trolls, The Secret Life Of Pets, Minions, How To Train Your Dragon 2, and The Iron Giant. Don't worry, there are plenty more movies included in the Summer Movie Express.

The $1 movies start on June 26 and run through August 29. Movies are usually scheduled for 10 a.m., but make sure to check your theater for exact showtimes.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales also goes to the Will Rogers Institute, which raises money for medical research pertaining to cardio-pulmonary diseases and educating the public on topics of health and fitness, according to Wikipedia.

The Hudson Valley has 2 Regal Cinema locations participating in the Summer Movie Express: Poughkeepsie and Mohegan Lake.
