A man and two teens are accused of stealing 22 pounds of hemp plants from a Hudson Valley farm.

On Thursday around 5:30 p.m., Red Hook police received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle and a trespass complaint at a local farm in the Town of Red Hook.

Patrol units were able to find the suspect's vehicle traveling south on State Route 9G where a traffic stop was conducted.

Police then allegedly found 22 pounds of hemp plants that were stolen from the farm. Peter J. Bonavita, 45, 18-year-old Raven M. Banks and 18-year-old Joshua L. Guldy were all arrested.

All three Kingston men were charged with grand larceny, a felony, and misdemeanors for criminal trespass and criminal possession of stolen property, both misdemeanors.
