Have you ever taken the ride from the Hudson Valley up to the Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown? If not, and you're a baseball fan, it's worth the trip. And that's not just because Brewery Ommegang is in close proximity either.

The hallowed halls where baseballs finest reside is less than a 2 hour trip. And there's lots of events up there too. Sure, you may not want to take a ride up this week with temperatures well below normal. But there's plenty of time to plan a trip for spring or summer.

4 players were voted into the hall today. Let's take a look.

  1. Randy Johnson - Few doubted Randy's first ballot inclusion. There are few pitchers in the history of the game as dominant.
  2. Pedro Martinez - Some would argue he didn't sustain his excellant stats long enough, but at his peak, there are few who could match up with Pedro (even though the Yankees were his daddy).
  3. John Smoltz - Known for his dominant run with the Braves as both a starter and reliever, it's great to see Smoltz voted in.
  4. Craig Biggio - Craig has the record for being hit by a pitch more than anyone in baseball history. Oh, and he was a great player too.
