5 men, including 4 that are teenagers, were arrested following an investigation into a burglary in the Hudson Valley.

State Police at Catskill began an investigation into suspicious activity that occurred in the vicinity of Becks Road and Joel Austin Road. Police say several subjects were seen running through private property while another waited in a vehicle.

Police detained the suspects and alleged they entered a private residence on Becks Road in the Town of Catskill and stole items from the residence.

Christopher Geiger, 17, 19-year-old Rae-Kwon Hall, Lamar Lawrence, 21, and 17-year-old Malcolm Dixon, all of Catskill were all charged with 2nd-degree burglary, and 4th-degree conspiracy, felonies. Geiger was also charged with trespassing and unlawful possession of a marijuana.

A 5th defendant, 19-year-old Frank Geiger, also of Catskill was charged with 4th-degree conspiracy.

State Police say the Cairo Police Department was instrumental in locating the stolen property that had been hidden in the woods after the subjects fled.

All the suspects were arraigned the Village of Catskill Court and were committed to The Greene County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash and $50,000 bond.
