If my current living situation wasn't holding me back, I'd be such a dog lady.

It seems like everyday on Facebook I'm liking pictures of adoptable puppies that are being taken care of here in the Hudson Valley by local rescue organizations. I've been following Take me Home Pet Rescue and they've always leave me with a smile. How could you not with all the adorable pups they post daily? Take me Home Pet Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. The organization is is supported and run entirely through donations and adoptions fees according to their website. They are made up of volunteers who rescue animals from high kill shelters. All the animals are fully vetted, spay/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Since I currently am unable to adopt a rescue, I want to get the word out on some puppies that may need a home. I talk to Lucia from Take Me Home and she gave me info on a few pups who have been waiting for sometime for a permanent home. Can you or anyone you know provide a home for these adorable new family members?

Carly is six months old, around 35 pounds and has been with Take me Home for a while now. She loves kids and is good with other dogs and cats too!

How is this little guy still looking for a home? Look at that face! This is Parm he's a terrier mix and is only 10 weeks old. They tell me he is currently being fostered by a family with five other dogs  and gets along great with them. Parm is also great with kids and cats too.

This next cutie is named Stephy. She's around 3 years old and loves kids and people. Weighing in at about 20 pounds, Stephy is scared of bigger dogs but gets along fantastically with dogs her own size.
