Amtrak Announces Cheap Fares For Select Summer Dates

Not all summer long, but during a limited run, there's a decent discount, we're talking like 25%, on 'northeast corridor' travel which includes specific stops between Boston and Washington D.C. Hudson Valley'ers would be able to plan visits to more than 30 destinations in both coach and on Amtrak high speed trains called 'Acelea' on a discount.

Some of the destinations are as reduced as $8 each way per person, a significant savings especially when you consider the total cost of a family getaway. For example, round trip to Boston for an adult fare ticket would only be $16.

How to Book Summer Travel on the Northeast Corridor

While riders only have until June 24th to BOOK using the current Amtrak pricing, travel dates can fall between July 8th and August 30th.
