Anthony Bourdain to Open NY Foodie Mecca

Foodies around New York City are drooling over details of Anthony Bourdain's marketplace.  The adventurous celebrity chef is planning a massive market inspired by his travels.  His business partner shared some information last week at a forum in Singapore.

Plans for the 100-thousand-square-foot site also include an oyster bar, a bakery, a tapas bar, a tea shop and outdoor beer garden.  Bourdain's mystery location is expected to be revealed sometime in the next few weeks.

There is already a placeholder website and a facebook page. When will it open? For foodies, not soon enough!
