Open Letter to My iPod Nano; Maybe You Can Make a Comeback
One piece of technology had a big impact on music lovers in the Hudson Valley.
I was cleaning up the other day and I came across something that really brought me back to the good days. Remember the iPod Nano? Remember when we used to have a separate device to hold our music and we'd carry it with us? Those were some good times...LOL. I remember how excited I was when I received my iPod Nano for a birthday and I couldn't wait to fill it with all of my music. The era it came out was a big deal for music and "all the cool kids" had an iPod Nano at some point.
It did make me wonder...does anyone still own an iPod Nano? Do people even still remember the iPod Nano? Surprisingly yes to both...I did a quick search on Ebay and there were a good amount of Ipod Nanos for sale and they ranged anywhere from $30 to $115 (it really depends on what you're looking for and how much storage you'd like).
Here's the listing for an iPod Nano in all it's glory on Ebay:
It brings back a lot of good memories LOL. I mean $34.99 isn't too bad for the price now. Here's one that's a little more pricier on the website:
Both aren't bad price wise, but I know they went for A LOT more money back when they were really popular. So since we've been talking about the iPod Nano I wanted to write an open letter to my iPod Nano and give it some credit for all the cool things it did.
Dear iPod Nano,
Thank you for all the great memories and letting me take my music everywhere with me. You actually made me want to walk and work out when I was younger because you made it possible to take my music with me and you made it fun. Thank you for making many long car rides enjoyable and letting me tune out not needed drama during free period in school. It was always fun trying to make playlists and putting all the music I wanted on my device. Each playlist signified an important event in my life (even if it was just getting ready to go to the mall and trying to see a cute guy). You will forever hold a very special place in my heart and kids today are missing out when it comes to owning one. Thank you always and I hope to see you again in the future...anyone can make a comeback.
Sincerely,
Someone who really loved their iPod Nano.
There are a good amount of iPod Nanos on Ebay so who knows, maybe they will make a comeback in the future and we will see them again in the Hudson Valley. Maybe.... Did you have a favorite kind of iPod? What music did you have on it? Share your answers with us on the station app:
