Jack Antonoff, frontman of Bleachers and one of the minds behind fun. is working on a new project that's in the more literary vein.

According to the New York Times, the producer, singer, and songwriter's love of music extends into the realm of the retail side of things, too. The upcoming book, simply entitled Record Store, will focus less on the mainstream concept of record stores--namely that they're for music-obsessives and record-hunting collector nerds--and more on the experience of mainstream stores that the average music fan saw. Think less musty vinyl smell and more Sam Goody.

The book is still in the planning stages and does not yet have a release date, but Antonoff expects it to be finished next year. It will be published by Simon & Schuster.
