Body Piercing Daredevils Use Piercings To Cross River

Body piercings can be beautiful. They can also be looked at as being a bit freaky. Here is some of the "freaky" part. Two daredevils in Ukraine have their own page in the record books after crossing a river on a rope supported by nothing but the skin on their backs.  According to the "New York Daily News " Mariya and Pavlo had special clamps pierced into their backs for the challenge.  They then used those clamps to attach themselves to a rope and travel more than 18-hundred feet across a river in Kiev.  Both completed the trip successfully, although not without spilling a little blood from the piercings.
