Free Great New York State Fair Admission For SUNY Students
As part of 'Student Youth Day' at the Great New York State Fair, all current SUNY students from any of the 64 campuses, can receive free admission into the fair on Thursday, August 27th! Current students will need to show a valid student ID card, and incoming students can provide an admission letter for entrance.
In an announcement from Governor Hochul's Office, this opportunity is part of the Great New York State Fair's focus on 'providing more New Yorkers with a chance to see the exciting, informative and fun activities available at the fair.'
The Great New York State Fair is one of New York's most beloved annual traditions, where New Yorkers gather to celebrate the best of our state. Now, through free admission to this wonderful event, more SUNY students will be able to learn more about New York's extensive agricultural industry, history and culture, and enjoy all that The Fair has to offer.

Great New York State Fair Details
The Great New York State Fair, held at the fairgrounds located in Syracuse, will run from August 26th through September 7th.
The fair draws massive crowds, with the all-time high attendance record of 1,329,275 in 2019. Fair foods, rides, agriculture, and can we talk about the concerts and live performances? This year alone, some of the performers include:
