Bottled Iced Tea Recall, What’s Affected

Yet another recall has been issued. This time it is from "The Sweet Life Tea Company".

The recalled teas are all in 16 oz bottles because glass might have gotten into those bottles because of a breakage on the bottling line. The affected flavors that are involved include:

mint & honey
green tea with citrus
half-and-half lemonade
raspberry and peach flavors

According to the recall at FDA.gov, the bottles affected will have the following codes on them:

First Line
042415 – Production Date Code: mmddyy (e.g. April 24, 2015)
114 – Julian Date Code
WC40 – Factory Code
2 – Bottling Line Identification Code

Second Line
15:19 – Military Time
BB 08/31/16 – Best Before date mm/dd/yy (e.g. August 31, 2016)
