Catskill Man on Parole Arrested on Weapons Charges

New York State Police report the arrest of a Catskill man on weapons charges.

According to officials, 28-year-old Scott J. Salvio was arrested after New York State Parole responded to a report of a domestic incident in the Town of Catskill on Monday. An investigation revealed that Salvio was found in possession of a knife which he allegedly used to threaten a victim during the domestic incident.

Salvio was charged with criminal possession and aggravated family offense, both felonies, and menacing, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to the Greene County Jail without bail.
