My favorite season overall is the summer. I feel I get to enjoy the most out of the day in summer. Even when I have to work all day, I can leave the studio at the end of the day and know I have several good hours of sun and warmth left. That being said; however, fall is my favorite season for drinking! I am a huge fan of a lot of autumn specialties like Oktoberfest brews, maple bourbons, and of course, apple cider!

New York's Cider Week Returns in October 2024

Autumn in Orange County, N.Y., is not only rich with stunning fall foliage and the crispness of the cooler days, but a full lineup of festivals and autumn fun. What’s better to drink this season than world-class ciders – especially during New York Cider Week, Oct. 5-13, 2024.

Orange County, just an hour’s drive from New York City into the spectacular autumnal colors of the Hudson River Valley, is home to breweries and cideries that have been at the heart of New York State’s fast-growing craft beverage industry. And if you're like me over in Dutchess County, it's just a drive over the bridge away! Super easy, barely an inconvenience!
