New Hopewell Junction Caribbean Restaurant Announces Soft Launch
Hopewell Junction has been getting ready for word of a grand opening for a brand new restaurant that will bring vibrant Caribbean cuisine to the Hudson Valley, and the word is out.
The location of the new restaurant may be familiar to many, as it was formerly the home of Hudson Valley Gyro Grill & Market, which has since found a new home in Wappingers Falls after many locals expressed their concern over where they could find their favorite gyros.
I had been keeping my eye on the building for the past several months, and recently noticed some activity inside, and a coming soon sign for a new to the area business.

Signs are up and things appear to be well underway at 1116 Rt. 82 in Hopewell Junction, just near the intersection of 82 and Clove Branch Road.
A brand new restaurant, not just to the area, Coco Bella's goal is to 'craft a welcome space where every guest feels at home, whether grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely dining experience.'
Branding the new restaurant as a 'cozy Caribbean-inspired bistro,' Coco Bella promises to source the freshest ingredients and infuse them with bold spices and vibrant colors of Caribbean cuisine.

It seems pretty clear by these food (and drink) photos that Coco Bella will be bringing some new flavor to Dutchess County.
In an announcement on Wednesday, September 11th, Coco Bella announced that they would be doing their soft launch this week, as they invite the community to 'come and savor our mouthwatering dishes and sup on delicious cocktails.'
