One city in New York has been recently declared one of the best locations to attend college in.

There are so many towns and cities that make up New York State, you almost forget how big the state really is. There are a lot of colleges and universities that people can pick from and they are spread out throughout the whole state. It's no real surprise that one area of New York has recently been named one of the best college towns in American and many New York residents agree with this honor.

Well.....Rochester, New York has officially been named one of the best college towns in the country, wow. There are a few colleges that are located in Rochester like the University of Rochester, the Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fischer University and SUNY Brockport. So if someone on the Rochester area wants to stay local they have plenty of chances to with these schools.

One thing I've always heard about Rochester is that it's known for their garbage plates. A Garbage Plate is an insane amount of greasy food given to you in one sitting and people travel from all parts of New York to enjoy one. Many locals say that someone really isn't getting the whole "college experience" or "experience in general" in Rochester unless they've tried a Garbage Plate LOL.

Of course there are other cool spots to check out like Lux Lounge, The Angry Goat Pub, Nick Tahou Hots, The Spirit Room and more.
