Controversy Over SNL Skit

A recent SNL digital short has some people seeing red. The skit which is crafted to look like a current TV car commercial has a father and daughter (daughter played by Fifty Shades of Grey's Dakota Johnson) saying an emotional good-bye at what appears to be an airport. The ad which in its original form is very touching...a father dealings with his little girl growing up and becoming a soldier (brings a tear to my eye when I see it!) but in the SNL version the daughters career path turns out to be a much different farewell. Take a look for yourself and you be the judge. Has SNL gone too far or should people lighten up? For kicks i've also included the commercial they are mocking below. Warning, it is a tear jerker!
